For equine work, the property is the room — the pasture, the barnyard, and the herd you’ll spend the session with.
Dreamlab is a small, private place on rural land about 15 minutes south of Madison. We don’t publish the address — the exact location and directions arrive with your booking confirmation. It’s an easy drive; you’ll know you’re close when the road quiets down and the fields open up.
It’s a quiet stretch of land — a creek and woods along one edge, open pasture, a barn and barnyard, and a small herd of four or five horses. The equine work happens out here, on the ground, in the space the horses live in. It’s a home and a working property, not a facility, and that’s the point: the horses are at ease because it’s theirs, and that’s what lets the work happen.
Dress for being outdoors and on your feet: closed-toe shoes you don’t mind getting dusty, and layers for the day’s weather. No horse experience is needed and you won’t be riding — this is ground-based work. What a session actually involves is on what to expect.
There’s a bathroom in the house you’re welcome to use before or after. We always meet you in person — no checking in, no waiting room. Afterward, there’s a quiet beverage and a minute to land before you head out; your facilitators will also make space to talk through whatever the session brought up.
