A practice and an experiment, run together.
Dreamlab began as a project inside Dream Scientific — a longer-running research initiative focused on cellular energy, the boundaries between consumer and clinical wellness, and what becomes possible when AI takes on the literature-synthesis work that one human can't.
Dream Scientific asks the upstream questions: which interventions hold up under scrutiny, how do they actually work at the cellular level, what's the dose-response, and where does the published evidence stop. Dreamlab is where those answers get tested with real people in a real setting. A practice and an experiment, run together.
Dreamlab is small and the work is honest about what it can and can't measure. Every member who participates in a session generates data — session parameters (modality, dose, duration), self-reported outcomes, and any optional measurements they choose to share. That data informs how protocols are refined session-to-session, and contributes, in anonymized form, to longer-running questions Dream Scientific is exploring.
Members consent to anonymized research use at signup. The full data, anonymization, and opt-out terms are spelled out in Section 14 of the membership release. The short version: we use what you share, we strip identifiers, you can opt out of new research at any time, and we tell you what we're learning.
A snapshot of what's currently in motion. This page will grow as projects start, finish, and get written up.
[PROJECT 1 — one paragraph: what question, what method, who's involved, where it sits today. 3–5 sentences.]
[PROJECT 2 — one paragraph: what question, what method, who's involved, where it sits today.]
[PROJECT 3 — what it'll look at, why it matters, what we'd need to start.]
Dreamlab is not an IRB-registered clinical trial site, and the research described on this page is observational and exploratory rather than randomized or controlled. We don't publish identifiable case studies, we don't bill insurance, we don't accept industry sponsorship that would compromise our reporting. We say so when we don't know.
If you're a clinician, researcher, or graduate student working on related questions and want to talk, email j@dreamlab.clinic. Dreamlab is small enough that one good question can change what we measure next.
